Teaching Teamwork Using Interactive Media

This 1.5 hour workshop will fly by. Engaging faculty members or teachers either online or face-to-face, learners will practice teamwork skills while also using interactive media.


Key Premise: Teamwork has to be taught to our learners, and the best way to teach it is to first experience an activity where your ability to work as a team is assessed.


Deliverables: Teamwork rubric- teach and provide feedback with these skills, Sample group assignment that can be used as a template, Information about various interactive media tools that can be used.


Fun: This workshop uses an "Iron Chef" type experience that has two teams of participants competing while the audience actively participates to support their assigned team. The competition is non-threatening and team oriented.


Ideal group size is 12-30 participants.
