Curriculum Mapping Workshop

This workshop is most effectively accomplished in-person. Over a 4-6 hour period of time a group of faculty members will collaboratively define the essential knowledge, skills and dispositions of learners who complete the program of study; align those outcomes with any national certifying bodies or standards setting organizations, align program outcomes with institutional learning outcomes, designate key assessments, and plan next steps together.

It is not unusual to finish the day with a working outline of the entire program, defined program learning outcomes, drafted ideas for key assessments, and initial alignments to other organizational or institutional outcomes and standards.
